
Ingredients
- 45g gram (chickpea) flour
- 45ml water
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 handful of fresh corriander, chopped
- 1/2 a fresh chilli, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Method
- In a bowl, mix together the gram flour, water, cumin, turmeric and salt
- Add the corriander, chilli and onion and stir until combined
- Heat the oil in a pan and place a spoonful of the mixture in the pan. You should end up with approximately 5 bhajis
- Allow to fry on each side for 5 minutes then remove and place on some kitchen roll to drain off the excess oil
