Cheese-Stuffed Black Bean Burgers

The sun’s coming out which means BBQ season is here. If you like cheese and burgers, you’ve got to try these! They make a perfect main and will give meat eaters FOMO!

Ingredients:

  • 1 400g tin black beans
  • 1 small onion, roughly chopped
  • 35g oats
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp italian herbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 25g violife cheese

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until a smooth dough forms
  2. Refrigerate for an hour then roll into 4 balls. Flatten the balls, place 1/4 of the cheese into each burger then gently form into a patty, enclosing the cheese.
  3. Place on the bbq/grill for 10 minutes, flipping half way, then enjoy!
