4 ingredients is all you need to make this delicious, crispy tofu! It can be served with rice, noodles, stir-fried vegetables, plain vegetables, in a wrap, sandwhich or pitta bread – so many options! I paired mine with black bean spaghetti, roasted brussel sprouts and some fried broad beens & mushrooms – so many possibilities!
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil (olive or sesame will also work) – you can also use NO OIL or spray oil! Just depends what ya fancy
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce (tamari and light soy sauce will also work too!)
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- Optional extras: 1 tsp of: garlic powder/chilli powder/chilli flakes/chinese 5 spice
Method
- Preheat oven to 180c and line a baking tray
- Cut the tofu into bite sized chunks and coat with oil and soy sauce
- Add the cornflour (makes it crispy!) and toss the tofu until the powder has mixed in and you can no longer see it
- Place tofu on the baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping over half way
